I found an obstacle while idling through a shallow area of Ving-et-tun islands several months ago that resulted in a bent prop shaft and reworked prop . It got me close enough to Double Bayou ramp to troll back there after the prop spun out . Thankfully I was with my crew and another boat . We had launched at Anahuac Park . They drove from there to Double Bayou ramp , picked me up and took me to Anahuac Park to get my truck/ trailer to return to Double Bayou where I winched my boat onto my trailer . So , you see , I'm a tad apprehensive with the find it with your prop approach in the wild hinterland of Far East Bay .
