Heading out this weekend for some big work at the Ghost Camp. I believe TMO is going to head down Friday night with a couple of guys. He'll be leaving Saturday afternoon. I may join him on Friday evening if I can get away early enough.
One reason I wanted to get on here early this week and post this up is that 007 is in on the job this weekend and I wanted to see if anyone could pick him up in Pasadena and come down with him. That would allow me to get there on Friday night and save me the drive up there and back.
Both Saturday and Sunday will be nothing but Ghost Camp bashing. If you ever thought about coming out to help before, but haven't yet, this is your time. If you've been out before, you know I'd love to have you back. It would be pretty key to have 2-3 more folks helping out. TMO's buddies have some things to do at Blockade Runners on Saturday. Ideally there would be 1 or 2 guys helping Mike out while I load debris and take it back to the ramp to throw it in the trailer they might be able to bring down.
With the holidays coming, we are down to 6 more weekends to get this job done before the GLO mandated February 1st deadline. It's already too close for comfort for me. Time to rally the troops for sure. If possible, I'd like it to be like a good old Amish barn raising, you know where everyone from miles around shows up to get the job done in one day
So post up if you're in this weekend and we'll see how much we can get done. Remember it's never a problem for me to pick up folks without boats at the ramp at SLP. When this victory finally comes, you can bet I'm gonna let loose one helluva Rebel Yell, then I'll pick up my fishing pole again. - Sandy
