Well, we agreed on a deal in principle, contingent on a test run. It will be here on or about January 3rd for me to do so. I can't see why I would go back on the deal, but I have a rule that I will never buy a boat without running it on the water first. Of course I need to sell at least 2 out of my 3 boats to pay for it. My dad said to forget waiting to sell mine to make a deal, that he would front me the money, but I'd have to pay him back by June. I'll be updating y'all after New Years and the test run.

Well, I sold the little 14 footer, so I'm part way there. The Carolina got delivered to Angleton yesterday and VJER and I took a close look at it tonight. We ran it on the hose and man is it cherry. Can't wait for the test ride. Just gotta secure funds.

As for selling the 2 I still have, I think I'll let the buyers decide which boat I keep for the short term. I'll be posting both up for sale as soon as I get back. Whichever one goes first, the other keeps hauling the Ghost Camp debris off. I don't want to be messing up the new baby with all that trash. Having never owned a nice boat personally, I hope it agrees with me.

Now you can sleep and not worry about it being pumped out to keep it from sinking.
Yeah, and all the muchachas they call me big pappa, when I throw pesos their way!

Yep, that was foremost in my mind. When I'm alone out there, I've got it down to a science. Set alarm for 6 hours later and it's perfect. I'll tell ya, 5am came pretty early Tuesday morning. I'll still be pumpin' for a while until we have all that trash pulled out of there. I'm going to fix that one hole and I think that'll make a big difference on the Gray Ghost.
