              Wow , big one ! Cool . I've read that they put up a fight and delicious . Why are they hard to clean ?

                They weren't too bad, just avoid the rib cage....and have a good, heavy sharp knife. Very fun to catch! I caught this one off a floating marker buoy with a shrimp under a popping cork, and a six ft leader.When the triple realized he was hooked, it blasted outta the water on its side, leaping about 2 ft in the air...then it saw us and started really pulling and fighting. Lots of big HARD pulls and runs before getting it boatside and netted.

                      Thanks for the update . I have no basis for this but I think of the meat being somewhat like a flounder . Can you describe the flavor and meat texture ?
