  • Record Flounder?

    I heard a nine year old landed a 10 pound flounder in the channel over the weekend...anyone heard anything or seen pics????

      Holy crap! That thing is huge! Glad it was a kid that caught it -- you can bet he's hooked for life now! I bet berkley's not too upset about it either.

          Yes sir I'm glad to see it was a kid as well... I'm proud for him... Hopefully it hits the record books...

            A chance to catch a 10lb Flounder doesn't come to often and it's great a nine year old did it so now Ethan will be able to get in the record book with that big mama. HE'S HOOKED FOR LIFE

                  From what I know it won't make a record unless they have something special for junior anglers. I believe that the previous state record was in the 13 pound range. Sabine Lake. There was at one time a story about a 13 pounder from Starvation cove. Outstanding fish, none the less. Kid should be very proud.
