Does anybody know what happened Sunday about 2:30 when I saw and heard a helo that didn't sound right (PHI) and saw it landed in Sea Isle on Lampasas road near Ft. Bend road? There was a fire truck and cop cars blocking the street. I was at my brother's house and heard a funny sound from the helicopter flying overhead and he circled, but his engine didn't sound normal (been on quite a few helo's and none ever sounded like that, but maybe his turbine was different than others-don't know, but it was different than most as far as sound??). Anyway as I was leaving his house and turned onto Lampasas to hit Ector and go back to Jam Beach, I saw all this commotion. Did coptor auto rotate down or someone get life flighted? Anyone know? Kinda strange itf it had engine troubles-seems he would have landed elsewhere than a circle/dead end.
