Experience Bayou Rum today in Lacassine, LA.

Visit Louisiana Spirits in Lacassine (I-10 frontage road) for a tour. They are distilling an excellent silver rum made from Louisiana cane!

They are currently aging rum in ex-Buffalo Trace barrels I can't wait to get a bottle of the aged juice.

                  sorry got back yesterday
friday on the way there we stopped at The best stop...cracklins were very good
bought 100.00 worth...didnt last the night ( went with a my sons high school wrestling team) thats why they didnt last...
saturday night after all day of wrestling at Xavier University the team decided to try Crescent sausage & pie co.
there was about 25 of us the owner/chef said it would be easier and faster if they did a family style portions and just brought whatever he decided was good.
                  appetizers
                  homemade salt vinegar chips
                  chicken jambalaya
                  sausages
                  andouille sausage
                  chicken rosemary sausage
                  chorizo sausage
                  arougalla salad
                  po-boys
                  brisket po-boys
                  chicken bacon po-boys
                  spicy chicken po-boys
                  oven baked pizza
                  cheese pizza
                  peporoni pizza

this place was amazing!! great service everything came out very fast and tasted great. Great atmosphere and great food. The went out of their way to make us feel at home and made sure that each one of our boys had plenty to eat. They only charged us 15/each. I know they must of lost their *****...But we all tipped very very well. I truly recommend this place. the parking was very minimal but it was outstanding!

Sounds like a good feast especially for a wrestling squad and a fisherman tagged as BIGBILL .
