Charlie's Custom Rods...
If you have ever thought about getting a nice rod for yourself or someone else for Christmas you should talk to Chuck at Charlie's Custom Rods before you decide on anything. I had two made. First, for my wife and another for a friend. What made this so cool was truly tailoring the rod for my wife's needs. It will be perfect for her. Next thing I really enjoyed is that you can tell this guy gets excited about building the right rod for you. He must have called me three times and then confirmed in email what I was looking for. After that he made suggestions to add what I had mentioned. The end result is going to be pretty awesome.
Finally...I was suprised at the price he quoted me. He came in much lower than what I was expecting to pay. I will be ordering more from him in the future. Maybe we should get a custom rod for a prize in the West End Tourney's...Big Trout Stick or something...
Anyway, if you are undecided about doing something like this do yourself a favor and give him a call. You'll be glad you did.
