  • Cold Front!

I was out on the S. Jetty when the front blew in this morning like a freight train! It went from calm SW wind to gale force N. wind and rain in just a few minutes. Definentely wouldn't want to be out on the open bay. The power of the weather amazes me sometimes.

Right as it blew in hundreds of birds took off from the point to find shelter. I did the same thing right after.

No, just on the jetty. I'm actually pretty excited about the front. Hopefully it will have some new ducks in, and they'll be moving low and decoyable. Plus there is a metor shower predicted for 1am to sunrise, so I'm gonna get out there early and see if I can see a show then blast (at) some birds.

Jeremy, we didn't catch anything. Soaking dead shrimp like you and your buddy do. Only out there for maybe 30 minutes and I was retying for the gf most of the time. None of the flounder guys said they saw anyone catching.

Wind is still blowing pretty good this morning, but the water has cleaned up nicely. See how the week plays out, but it might be a good time to hit the water!

Low tide guys! James told me there were a few boats stuck from the tide ripping out while they were duck hunting Remember if you need a pull or rescue just give me a shout
