I was planning on going this afternoon, but had employee issues. Looks like I'll be heading there with ibtsoom & family Sunday. We'll look for you Chip.
This will be the first fishing related show I've ever been to. Mike said to bring cash for good deals, so I got $20 burning a hole in my pocket! Woo Hoo!

har ! That says it all ! First fishing show and swaggering in with 20 bucks in hand ! Bruce , that won't get you half way down the first isle ! Lots of temptations there and fishing eye candy . Before you blow your allotment , go down each isle and see it all before plopping down your cash . As you go in the door , there's an atm machine cleverly placed on the right .... Don't mortgage the home ...har ! Have fun.

Dang , I blew $16 on 4 bags of DOA soft plastics at their booth and I don't hardly ever throw plastics ! But , they waz so dang pertty . Had a plum gold glitter I ain't seen . The guy said he saw a box way up high in storage with a color number on it that he didn't remember ever seeing . He climbed up and got it and opened it . He said to himself he could catch fish with those and he did . Don't look for them . I bought the last 2 bags . The pictures aren't that good .

I saw SYSCO KID there Friday and walked around with him . He knew this retired fishing captain who makes these plugs and cleans reels and fishes . They sink like a corky . This is the mullet colored plug . He said fishing them , some of the other colors catch more trout but this color bigger trout . I'll try them and see how they perform . I can always use some in the surf . Corkys get eat up and torn up in the surf .

See , Bruce , I have a gazillion corkys , fat boys , devils , suspending , floating , but , after talking with him and coon fingering the lures in all their shiney brilliance , I had to buy 3 . $18 total . Oh man , the ATM will be your best friend Sunday . Then Monday morning you'll wake up and see the pile of ATM receipts next to you in bed like an all weekend drunk with the DEW DROP INN bar fly slut next to you and think , " oh Gawd , what have I done !? " .
