Ummm here's the video of it actually happening!!!

Remember the amazing $1.6 million Bugatti Veyron lake crash blamed on a low-flying pelican? We have the video of it happening and there's not a freaking pelican in sight. UPDATE: The driver responds!

EXACTLY!! Did you see the bird right before he wrecked? It looked like he ran over it feathers came out the back everything

"UPDATE: Thanks to some great follow up reporting by the Galveston Daily News and their sister paper, we now know the man is Andy House of Performance Auto Sales in Lufkin, Texas. The shop, ironically, specializes in repairing wrecked exotics."

Read more in the above link I posted earlier w/ video.

Just a follow-up, the guy plead guilty to fraud. Not surprising...

At his baptism, Sam Houston was told his sins were washed away. He reportedly replied, “I pity the fish downstream.” - Nov. 19, 1854 - Independence, Texas

I heard the story on that one. Took out a 0 interest loan from friend and bought the car for 1 million. Took out insurance on car as antique/collectors item worth 2 million. Wrecked it intentionally for insurance policy... Great idea he almost got away with until those pesky kids posted the video on utube and insurance found it!
