Jumping on the bandwagon my a**. Some of the most die hard fans in the world never set foot on campus. My brother went to Ole Miss and bleeds burnt orange.
This is the best Texas team I have seen in over 20 years; including the 2005 NC team and those other "overrated" 10 + win game teams every year since.
But, what I have noticed is that you havent seen near as many aggy stickers around since aggys went back into the woodwork 7-8 years ago!

I just wish once a non-student longhorn fan would attend a game at Kyle Field with an open mind and see the great traditions and the spirit of Aggieland.
Oh, JT, that Aggie War Hymm was written in world war 1

I've been a UT fan since as long as I can remember. You live in Texas and have to pick a team to root for. It damn sure wouldn't be the Aggies or Tech, plus there's no better place to be than Austin, TX. Well maybe the saltwater fishing....
No I didn't go to UT, couldn't afford to do that by myself. But I may in the future.
Why do people call it bandwagonning because you root for a team but didn't go to the school. I'm sure none of ya'll played for an NFL team or were part of one, so I guess we're all bandwagoners.
Now if you're a Tech fan one yr and then switch the next...

They had that back then too.(peenis envy)
Ive been to plenty of games at Kyle with non longhorn students and I couldnt get my dates to quit looking into the stands and at the corps and band. Like you would stare walking around sideshows at a carnival.

THE University of Texas at Austin, BBA in PLM Class of 1981. As far as aggies, I was meeting with the College Station City Attorney at CS City Hall in 1992 regarding drilling a well in the city limits and had a "UT-EX" sticker on my suburban. When I came out to my truck after the meeting I had a very nice long key scratch down my side of my truck. That shows lots of "Spirit" doesn't it? BTW, my Godfather was a Class of 1952 aggie and had respect-seems lots of aggies nowadays fail to show respect and are rabid and sick when it comes to "Team/School Spirit". Look at the Sabre incident with SMU-a little overboard and some folks think they (the sabre threateners) were justified. My $.02.
GO HORNS!"Hey Hillary, regarding the Benghazi Attack on 9/11-we'll just blame it on that movie, not my total lack of security. By the way, what's so significant about 9/11 anyway-was that a date my buddy Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground blew up a government building?" asked Obama to Hillary. I share the same opinion that coachlaw does about TU being too liberal. That's why my son and my money go to A&M. My younger son will also be going there next year. Their team should be better next year with the 18 freshman maturing and with Sherman at the helm. Gig 'em Aggies!Originally posted by coachlaw View PostHere's why I tend to side with the Aggies: At UT you have ultra liberal crunchy professors teaching a generally liberal granola student body. All this in the San Francisco of Texas. There's really not a lot to like about that where I come from.
That being said, I really care more about Tulane winning more and LSU winning less.

Nope-he was afraid he'd be skewered like a piece of meat on a ka-bob. The SOB with the sabre was wrist slapped. Wonder what section of Huntsville he's in today or likely he's in the Personnel Department at Shell or ExxonMobil and drooling for firing/lay off day-sick bastage."Hey Hillary, regarding the Benghazi Attack on 9/11-we'll just blame it on that movie, not my total lack of security. May happen Slyell, strange things have happened before, especially when UT should easily beat the opponent (Central Florida a few years ago!)."Hey Hillary, regarding the Benghazi Attack on 9/11-we'll just blame it on that movie, not my total lack of security.
