After problems in Matty last week I took the rig to Acie's this am and dropped it off at 9am.
The lower unit had corroded after our trip, so I thought it may be an anode problem and it ran like S__T. I also had some oil blowing out of the drain on the lower unit, so I thought it had blown a seal.
He found bad connections on the coil and replaced them and the motor runs like new.
He found a loose wire on the console that was rubbing up against the console and putting 10.5v into the hull and causing the corrosion on the hull and lower unit.
The oil coming out of the drain is excess from the engine not burnign it because of the coil problem, but I had him change the lower unit oil anyway.
He called at 11am and said to come get it! Acie is "The Man"!!
