I am completely new to looking into mud motors. Do any of you guys have any particular brands you prefer to others? My outboard finally met its' demise and I am really leaning towards a mud motor. Thanks for your help in advance.

Coe can tell you all about it. And you could click on the MMT sponsor banner that shows up at the top of the screen. It stands for Mud Motor Talk.

What will you be using it for? Also you'll get alot of info on the different brands good and bad on Mudmotortalk.com

        My particular brand is Gator-tail.

I'll have to check out that forum. I use tapa talk and I don't see the banners, but I'll get online and check it out.

I'll be using it on my gigging boat, so running shallow and getting up in the marsh during teal and duck season.

I run a 18x60 gator tail rig. I've had it since August and have ran mine along the coast from here to port mansfield . If you want to check it out first hand , just contact me

It's not an air boat... It still needs MUD. Been riding one for probably 5 years around coast from MS to Padre.
