  • What would you have done?

The Moonpie doesn't usually rant on such topics but here goes......

Took my brother and his young son fishing yesterday.
We were anchored on the side of a channel. Been there about 45 minutes.
Along comes another boater and he LITERALLY anchors up about 30ft away.
Could of tossed the guy a beer he was so close.
I realize its Saturday and the Doofi are out and about but this was a bit much.
I had been casting a spoon around some pilings and this guy starts throwing his lure right in same area!
We weren't catching so we left shortly.
That dude better be glad I had my little nephew in the boat or I would of ripped his ***.

And if one of you is that guy who jumped me in Mud Cut yesterday you are a sorry ***. You think you would have minded if I had done that to you?

    Rant over.

I'm going back to night fishing on weekdays!

It was the weekend... I know there was one couple in a decent sized fiberglass center console slow down half way to pas a yakker and we were idling around behind the yakker he wasn't fishing but the female in the boat pointed at him and her and her husband watched as he rolled over their wake like he was in the surf.. His wake bounced us around.. There were a couple times this happened.. If your going to slow down to be curtious look at your wake and go lower than half throttle..
Yeah, and all the muchachas they call me big pappa, when I throw pesos their way!

      Moonpie,
You did the right thing, just move on. The guy is a idiot and that will not change is you ripped him one! I just do not understand some boaters, I have pulled into a cove and if there is someone in there I go somewhere else even if they are hundreds of yards away.

Some are just plain inconsiderate or don't have a clue. You did right. You can't change the morons usually. Main thing, you do the right thing.

but what you need to remember about this post; is that for the last 3 or 4 years, I look like an ol sway back plug horse out in a pasture from carrying and letting moonpie ride and potlick me. So he really doesnt have much room to talk about someone else.

and now michelle is taking his place.

AP's and Moonpie's other name for JT is Wheelbarrow.
That comes from having to carry his useless *** around with both hands.

007 would you believe I didn't even have a single beer on board?

I knew better than to stop. You pirates would of stole everything I had! LOL
