Don't know what the weekend holds for the Krewe of Blockade Runners. TMO and company are out due to work. Might just be me again if 007 is still down with the crud. We really need to hit the Ghost Camp, but he needs to be there for that to happen. Looks like I might just tackle removing the drywall from the rest of the place. If anyone wants to come out, just lemme know. - Sandy

Good for Saturday, but windy. Bad starting Sunday afternoon. I'm sure it will change one way or another though. From 1970-1997, true heaven on Earth existed on the banks of Bayou Cook. "Hey Dad, Thanks for buying the Camp."

Maybe I can come by.Suppose to fish with reeltime Saturday mourn.Pretty sure I've yakked by that place before. In fact I've never fished that area in a boat.If I come that way can I make it in a Kenner or should I come in my little boat.

Depending on tides, almost any boat you can put in the bay will make it in the bayou. I can lead you in if you're unsure of the channel. - SandyFrom 1970-1997, true heaven on Earth existed on the banks of Bayou Cook. "Hey Dad, Thanks for buying the Camp."

Yep, the county park at SLP. Keep to the left big time until you are in the pass. I have a couple of pics from when Torque and 007 took the drywall off one of the walls. I didn't take any pics of what I did. Almost the entire front room is gutted save for the inside wall of the kitchen where the cabinets are. I think the kitchen will be the last thing we do, save for the floors. From 1970-1997, true heaven on Earth existed on the banks of Bayou Cook. "Hey Dad, Thanks for buying the Camp."

Oh man, we're not putting drywall back in there. Talk about a poor materials decision by the previous tenants. We're going to be putting in an industrial interior supplied by TMO's industrial interiors company. It's plywood covered with something. We need to re-construct the front wall as we have all the other walls and put the Hardie boards on the exterior, then caulk and paint. The interior will get done after the exterior.
One thing we will need to do this weekend is shoot some lag bolts in the dock with the big tides expected late Sunday and Monday. I'll also need help gathering a few pilings from where they recently landed with our big tides a couple weeks ago. Just need to get them together and tie them up. If I have a couple of guys, that'll take 15 minutes.
I don't think we can do anything about the Ghost Camp this weekend because 007 is still completely AWOL and he's the only one who knows what's going on with that. If he resurfaces, I'll reconsider. If I'm alone, I'll take the ceiling out of the bedroom and remove all the old insulation. From 1970-1997, true heaven on Earth existed on the banks of Bayou Cook. 007 has resurfaced. I'll pick him up at 7am tomorrow and head back down to Angleton to get the boat. Unless anyone wants to grab him in Pasadena and bring him down with you.
Anyone else that wants to join is welcome. I plan to be out of there by noon Sunday due to the impending weather.
Heading to the hardware store in a few. Gotta get a few things. From 1970-1997, true heaven on Earth existed on the banks of Bayou Cook. "Hey Dad, Thanks for buying the Camp."

Nah, front porch is 9 feet above the water. Everything will be fine until Sunday afternoon according to the data. I plan to be out there until around noon Sunday. From 1970-1997, true heaven on Earth existed on the banks of Bayou Cook. "Hey Dad, Thanks for buying the Camp."
