Tattoo

So some of you might think this is lame.... But I have always wanted a tattoo, but wanted it to have some meaning.

Anyways I have a 2 year old son with the name James, and I love fishing. So I got this done last Friday



The color on the picture is a bit off and yellow. This is part 1 of the tattoo really. I am going to get another reel below this one for our next kiddo. Anyways what reel type do you think I should get? I was thinking of a Shimano Baitcast. I'm going back to the guy that did this one he was awesome.

Haha classic. There was a 13 year old kid at the tattoo shop who wanted "Thug Life" on his stomach when he was old enough. He lives in The Woodlands and has quite successful parents... It was a bit confusing. He's a real thug in suburbia.

I don't understand why anyone would get a tattoo, or a piercing. I just didn't grow up in an environment where it was acceptable to get a tattoo, unless you were in the military, or to have anything pierced but your ears. Women only on that. Only gay guys got pierced ears. But everybody's different and times change. I particularly dislike it when I see women with big gaudy tats or piercings in places that shouldn't be pierced. Bellybuttons are so often ruined by piercings. I hate that. Men I don't care that much about. Y'all do what you want .

nice tat I like how they integrated the line and hook into the name! I waited til 30 to get my first tat - thank god I didnt get any i would have gotten at 18.

i made that mistake, or at least made the mistake of making a bet with a tattoo as the punishment for the loss

You have a great story though - at least it is on your butt which makes the story that much better

You could always get it covered up but then again butt tats can't really be cool unless you end up covering your whole body like some Yakuza mafia member

haha yeah it is a great story. i didnt have to pay for it either everybody always says i should have gotten something more serious than "thug life" but if its gonna be a butt tat, it cant be too serious lol.

Pretty cool. I've considered getting a fishing tatoo before. It's the only thing I've stayed with long enough to even consider.

A post on another board that I participate in said that tattoos are indicative of low class. That pushed me right over the edge, and made me get mine.

cool tat.. I'm scared of needles no tats for me... I agree w/ Sandy in a sense on the girls I dated a girl with tats in some weird places.

I like that TAT though! Any tat with meaning is a damn good one! Most tell a story and all of my buddies who have them got them for some emotional experience or life changing event to remind them of it (Kids, Marriage, a death of close family member etc.)

I always figured tramp stamps were made so you can draw while ya diddle around.

Personally, I think Obama has a tattoo that says Freaking Moron and Michelle's says "Hopin' for change cause I be sick of this prick".
