I have always liked breathables. If you fart in neoprenes you could blow a boot off

I have both breathable and neoprene. Breathable were on special and are from bass pro. Caddis Neoprene were bought at the spring sale for $15. Had a small defect, but had them for 2yrs. No leaks. Can't complain for $15. I need neoprene, because I get cold real quick. It's miserable being cold. Lord Bless.

I know this is about waders, but I keep hearing about sweats? Wear wick proof long handles and jeans. Sweats hold in moisture and make you cold, get the moisture away from the body and you will stay warm. I wear my breathable year round. Wool socks under waders and lots of people wear wool on outside to protect their feet.
            Good luck.

Don't wear cotton under breathables or you'll get clammy. Silk, synthetic, or wool for all the layers is the way to go, and top off with a wade jacket or other wind-proof top.

Wool is the warmest and keeps you warm even if wet . But you layer . Thin under armor then layers .

I wear breathables and layer for the conditions and have fished in a freeze before. If I'm in 45 degree water for hours my feet get numb whether I'm wearing my neoprenes or breathables. Maybe your just 'cold" natured. BTW where you fish has nothing to do with how cold you get.

I wear nothing but breathables and what's fun is going 60mph in 30+ weather w aqua pimp driving your bote at dawn. Whatever expression you had on you face when the ride started is the one you'll have all morning.

Furthermore, you don't get the dreaded "wader gas" build up as fast w them. I buy the cheap kind and gladly toss them every spring.
