Congratulations to Daniel (DPOP), and Capt. Frances (Aqua Pimp) for their first place finish. They brought in an impressive weight of 18.13 lbs. and first place trout weighing 7.45 lbs. You must of caught the perfect size fish. WTG guys!

Morning started off slow but I was able to stick a 7.5 lber early. Dpop stuck another one a few hours later that was an easy 7 but he released it since mine was a little heavier. This tourney only one Trout over 25". The last hour and a half the bite went off as we smoked the Trout. All these Trout were in the 4 to 5 lb range. Luckily we caught a few that were 5 1/4 lbs that were about 24". Nice tourney sized Trout.

I asked AP if he froze his arse off standing in 40 degree weather in chest deep water for 8 hours, and he said the thought of the $$$$$ prize money in his pocket kept him warm.
