Not that much different than a Karankawa indian hunting the shallows at night with a torch and a spear.

Dang, I always take my backup hand held VHF Radio that float with me on anyones boat. Cell phone will do you no good if the boat capsizes and gets wet. Even if you call 911 they don't knwo where you are, yet that is.

lol I know it was my buddy at work's neighbor. He told me that day, "dude my dumbass neighbor was loading up his boat when I left the house this morning. I hope he aint going fishing but knowing him he prob is". Then yesterday he was telling me about how they got airlifted out and lost the boat and his dad was PISSED. Dude is like 29 yrs old too sounds like he lost daddy's boat!

Wow, in the bay too... I thought they were offshore at first. There were some crazy winds out there, glad they are safe.

Last year this time is when we lost our 16' jon boat...

Don't underestimate wind the waves can kick up in a few minutes and if your not heading for shelter your in trouble!

Any boat can easily stall and that loss of momentum hold on cause your now at the mercy of wind and waves...

Bailey was able to climb onto a GeoTube after our boat capsized with his dad on board. Luckily a cell phone managed to stay dry and they made 1 call which went to voicemail... actually my buddy ignored it thinking they were right behind him... All that he heard on VM was.. "Help.... we..... need.... assistance.... capsized."

We salvaged it the day after but RIP that little 30HP johnson was a beast!

We all do some nutty stuff now and then and mostly learn from it. Glad they survived and now are boatless.
"Hey Hillary, regarding the Benghazi Attack on 9/11-we'll just blame it on that movie, not my total lack of security. By the way, what's so significant about 9/11 anyway-was that a date my buddy Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground blew up a government building?" asked Obama to Hillary. BEAUTIFY AMERICA, RUN OVER A LIBERAL, THEN BACK UP AND SEE IF HE'S DEAD.

Wonder if insurance covers crap like that.. I'll have to read my policy. Think there's a "stupid choices" clause in there somewhere.
