Chocolate Report
My buddy and I met up and were on the water by 11ish went up to lutes for some shimp and headed south of 2004. Tide was low so decided to fish a spot that i've done some good at on a low tide in the past. No luck so moved around by Halls with couple of sheeps that my buddie wanted to keep but I was in search of reds, specks or flounder. Threw almost ever lures i had at them, fishing in this season is something that I still trying to work on. Went into halls on the right entrance and ended up on a reef that i didn't realize was there. Never entered on that side but now I know were that mother is. Did't do to well but had a heck of a time with a buddy that i hadn't seen in a while. Some might of saw me, I was in an 18 ft White Gulf coast.

Try areas from the causeway to greens cut. About time for those areas to produce. Don't know where you'll score any live shrimp. Maybe Louis'.Comment

That reef runs from the island all the way bout about 100 yards. Don't feel bad I know its there and have done it.

Majek illusion. I have been neglecting the bay the last month due to deer season but I'll be back out starting next week wading waist deep mud.

Thanks for the report....lots of reefs and mud to get stuck in around halls. Hard to navigate sometimes in any boat over there slow as u go is always a good thing.Comment

Shouldve stayed in the bayou! Thats where the reds and flounder are right now. Been catching some sandies but no specks in there. Those flatfish are real active right now.Comment
