Typical day with the "Hammer"

Have you ever had one of those days when nothing seems to go right?
Today was another in the long line of those days for me. I won't bore you with the work details, but suffice it to say that work SUCKED today and I didn't get anything accomplished.
I got home and started preparing for the redfish tournament that we are going to win tomorrow and was casting in the front yard with my 4 yo son Cameron. He broke off the weight that I had tied on for him and ran over to me and said "Dad.....Come fix my reel", so I set my rod on the back of my neice's car (WTH was I thinking) and went in the garage with him. I fixed him up and went back out in the front, where to my suprise, the car was gone and so was my Chronarch and Corky Special!
I ran in the house and told Tina to call her neice, but alas it was nowhere to be found. I jumped in the car and drove the route she had taken with no luck and finally resigned myself to the fact that my FAVORITE fish catchin' machine is a goner. I am drowning my sorrows and grieving my loss tonight and hope that tomorrow makes up for that way things went today!
I guess I will have to fish with the Curado on the Waterloo tomorrow........Dang.

I have never fished a redfish tourney either and all my friends say that I have to be the luckiest person alive since I catch fish even when they don't! Afetr all the bad luck today, I am definitely due for some good luck!

It should be a great tourney tomorrow and there is going to be some strong competition. I have been trying to talk trash just to get some guys talking back! Come on Keith.......Spar with me Brutha!

Chip, sorry about the rig, but I am not crying one bit and you know why!!!! I am just going to be happy to bring one fish to the weight in. Yes I said fish, so that means gaftop, ladyfish or even a croaker See you tomorrow and don't wear the blue shirt again, because I am wearing it tomorrow.

By the way, the wind it calming down some this evening and tomorrow looks to be one heck of a day, so good luck to all. I have a feeling there will be some nice reds brought it.
