The EPA is expanding its power over waterways and adjoining lands . That's going to affect us also .

Plugger I got an email at work about the EPA's NPDES program wanting to expand beyond "waters of the state" but as far as it affecting the recreational fishing sector, I didn't see anything. Gonna be a big pain in the arse for me though if it makes it past the public comment period and gets promulgated.

actually , Tim , I think you are correct . His administration leans towards the ultra environmental left . Expanding EPA ' s scope and range is another power and control over the people move . Power to the government , not power to the people .

They can shut down gigging in December as thats when the big girls leave anyway but they should shut down the rod and reel too.
If they want to protect the fishery then don't do it half assed, shut the whole migration harvest down.

When the limit in Florida went to five a day, they didn't *****, so now you can't keep a trout in the winter there. It's an incremental creep toward catch and release, or even marine protective zones.

Oh you nailed that truth ,Kenny, about the TP&W! All for show when it's already cut and dried. Maybe if anglers loudly protested at every public show to the point it threatened their necks ...

Saw a game warden the other day at the gas station....he said next year the flounder limit for Nov and Dec was to be 0 fish......let the beatchin' begin. I'm all for it since I don't eat fish but even I think this is ridiculous! Seen a definite decline in my catches of reds in the past few years, but I think it's because of the increase in the number of people fishing, poor enforcement and greed from those that don't give a whit about limits (not including members of this site and true lovers of the sport in the "greed" part of that statement).
