It was great. There were tons of goodies to give away. I also really enjoyed meeting some of y'all I'd never met before. Kudos to Mike and Coe for putting the whole thing together and of course Rachel for all the last minute stuff. I'm really looking forward to next year.

The one person I didn't mention in my string of thanks was my wife, Rachael..
She was every bit as much in the middle of this as myself from the beginning and while I was out fishing with the little ones she was helping set up the weigh-in and keeping everything organized. Don't know what I'd do without her. Thank you babe, for everything you do.

Thanks to everyone that put this together! I believe I enjoyed it just as much as the kids. My nephew was a happy young man winning first place Trout. He fell asleep on the way home holding his trophy. That’s what it’s all about! I’m looking forward to next year already! BTW – It was nice meeting and visiting with a few of you guys at the weigh in.

Yep. Annie was ready to be done by 9:30. We were off the water and to the causeway by 10! LOL!

lol after about 10 or 15 good birds nest the last one wrote the book on birds nest so i offered my set up and he was like are you sure you want another birds nest..i said no problem.At that point he was ready to go.Needless to say he went to bed early and complained of sore leg muscles..lol

What a great time, I will have to say that my little girl keep telling me when I woke her up that she wanted to go back to sleep and we would go tomorrow, but once she got out there she had a blast. I don't now all the names of the people who are behind this that put it on and also donated items for the place prizes and raffle items, but all I can say is thank you for your hard work, it turned out great. We to had to take a little boat ride around 10:30 or so to keep the kiddos entertained and to catch a little cool breeze. The kiddos racked up on door prizes and my boy is ready to try out his new custom rod he got for winning 1st place red in the teen division. We will be ready for next year.
