I want to thank everyone that came out and supported the event yesterday. We had a fantastic turnout for our first event with 47 young anglers entered in the tournament! Despite the scattered fish due to the high tides, there were some impressive fish weighed on the scales.

I want to thank Mike Stephenson (IBTSOOM) for running point on this tournament. Mike, without your help this tournament would not have happened, thank you for your assistance.

Myself and my kids had an awesome time!! I'd also like to extend many thanks to our members that helped behind the scenes and made generous donations of both time and prizes in order to make this happen! Man, I wish I could have been there

Congrats to all that won and to all that participated. Kudos to the wonderful parents, families and volunteers that made sure these kids had a day to remember.

Great tournament!.It needs to be a yearly event for sure.Tough day out there,but I was very proud of Brandon,he hung in there strong and waded next to me all morning.He had a good time.We weren't 5 minutes out of the boat ramp and he was out,slept the whole way home.Great job Mike!.It was a huge success.Thank you for all the time you put in and to all the sponsors and parents who brought out their kids.It was nice to see such a big turnout.Some happy kids yesterday.Congratulations to all the kids and the winners.

We fished near Bayou Vista and burned through 2 quarts of shrimp by 11a. We caught 10 different species by the end of morning. We were catching sand trout on every cast about 9a. Charlie got 1st in the youth division with his flounder. John came 2nd in the teen division with his speck. Both boys had a really good time. John said on the way home "we are definitely doing that again next year" so I guess we are. Charlie was asleep before we got out of Sea Isle.
