Hey, Hey !! Coach has been too long alone in his rustic bayou hideout- the hormones are raging !! You set Deano straight about obscene avatars. Like I said, YOU GO ,SANDY ! Don't let on about your bayou rat friends , especially 2112, so as you don't run her off. You have to take time to prepare her for us so it won't be a complete shock. A tip, women are funny about oral hygiene- better get your teeth cleaned quickly and start flossing- har har. Glad for you , Sandy. Next thing, you'll have frilly little window curtains fluttering in your bayou home windows. Are you sorry yet that you shared ?

Now it seems she has realized her mistake. I'm the one that got away? Cool. Don't know what the future holds, but I'm feelin' good. She was . . . . . LUMINOUS. I've got those butterflies. Been years since I felt that.

I can't even think about why you have a stinkin' Yankee bastage as your avatar Deano. I'm flyin' high in the clouds. Hope you feel better Caz. From the looks of the weather forecasts, I shouldn't have called off the hired help . Ah well I'm feelin' too good to second guess myself.

Be at the ramp no later than 10am if anyone wants to join. I need someone on my destruction crew. I'm afraid to go up the ladder, though now I could probably float there. (Yeah, it's corny but true). - Sandy

                      Da Report.

Nah, I'm not sorry I shared. Y'all can't embarrass me none. We'll see how things work out. I'm obviously pretty giddy about it though.

I'm also giddy about all the work that got done this weekend. Due to the Brazoria County Fair parade, I was very late getting to the ramp. It ended up being perfect timing as Greg arrived just after I dunked the boat. When we got to the camp, we found that Tom and Bob had done most of the prep work already. They went after putting the walls up and I went after removing all the dry wall and taking out the temporary wall I had patched together after Ike, then finally scooping up all the debris. When it was all done, we had the room back. It used to be called the "tool room". While that might be part of its function we agreed that due to our decision to mount only one window, we'd call it "The Cave". The cave should sleep 5 with 2 bunk beds and a single.

The Cave is mostly cleaned up now. No more foot deep debris. There are a well formed and motivated group of homeless fiddler crabs in there now though. I was able to move a bunch of stuff out of the front rooms into there. The door is ready for installation. A craftsman would probably finishthe job in about 45 minutes. The next step will be to do the North wall of the kitchen. Things are moving along.

After the guys left bearing numerous bags of trash, I headed back to da camp. It grayed up almost instantly upon my return. I spent most of the night sorting through hardware and cleaning up as much as I could. Before I knew it, it was 2am. I hit the sack and got some of that awesome hyper-sleep it seems I can only attain there.

I awoke very early to a gray morning that only made me go back to bed instead of doing some fishing. I later awoke for good due to a meeting that was going on outside the window. It seems that the bird union, local 502, scheduled a rally on the back porch. They seemed to be upset that we closed off their protected pooping spot. Petitions were heard and shelved.

I got back to cleaning/relocating things for the rest of the day. Just as I got ready to fight the wind and put some screws in to sturdy up the new walls, it started raining. So I just continued to clean up and fart with more 12 volt wizardry until things appeared to clear up around 2pm or so.

The tide was another bull today. It was so high I had to step UP into the boat from the dock. As soon as I hit Cold Pass, I got whacked by the rain. Once I had everything loaded into the truck, it started to get really hairy. Winds were gusting to 25 and perhaps more as I sat in my truck, trailer ready to dunk. I had to sit there for about 20 minutes until it quit raining too hard.

The real adventure was trying to get the boat on the trailer in the gale. I made no less than 12 approaches before finally getting the boat on there. Of course as soon as I pulled the boat out of the water, the wind died to nothing and the skeeters had their way with me as I prepared for the road.

Thanks to Tom, Bob, and Greg for getting the job done. Next weekend we'll either go full on against the Ghost camp or do the kitchen wall. Either way, things are moving. - Sandy

                            Last batch

Looks like Bob has a little Captain in him, and finally the crew relaxes after a good day of work.

You know, I meant to put you in there Bro. I guess I messed up.

Thanks to Mike for the instant on demand weather checks. It's good to have a personal meteorologist.
