  • Home Invasion In Clear Lake City

Some old friends were robbed in Clear Lake at 4:00 this morning. The thieves got in their garage and cars first, then came through the kitchen into the house and went upstairs. My friend Eddie chased them out of the house into the cul de sac. but was shot with a .22 in the chest right above the heart. He was taken to Ben Taub where they determined the bullet missed his heart by a tiny bit and was lodged in his back. He actually went home already. Lucky man!
It's an evil, dangerous world we live into day.

You got that right ! He didn't have a weapon !? I wouldn't chase anyone without being armed to the teeth . I have a FMP tactical .45 ACP with a 30 round magazine and 200 lumen tactical flashlight by my bed . I'm not going down without a fight . He's lucky to be alive . Who the h..l do they think they are breaking into a home . They deserve to be gunned down , especially when they are armed . Makes my blood boil .

You have to be ready to protect yourself and your family . When seconds count , the police are only minutes away .

Get an alarm security system and use it . We have friends that had a security system installed then stopped the monthly payments to save money . When both were at work , they got wiped out . Go figure . I've talked to people who have an active security system but don't use it ...what's up with that !?

That's terrible Kenny. Glad he survived. L&L is the way to be safe and keep it near the bed.
"Hey Hillary, regarding the Benghazi Attack on 9/11-we'll just blame it on that movie, not my total lack of security. By the way, what's so significant about 9/11 anyway-was that a date my buddy Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground blew up a government building?" asked Obama to Hillary. BEAUTIFY AMERICA, RUN OVER A LIBERAL, THEN BACK UP AND SEE IF HE'S DEAD.

                  yes , but , I want the option of an equalizer if needed . I can't run , I can't fight . I have arthritis , quirky back , a gut , out of shape . I'm a victim waiting to happen without a firearm .

                  hows your friend doing ?

Sad to hear glad he is ok....things can be replaced. It happens everywhere. My truck was stolen from out of my driveway in Pearland. Always stay prepared...and remember when you are startled you aren't as prepared as you think.

I'm with Plugger, .45 with four clips of hollow points. And go to the range and practice like I do.

Practice with a flashlight in your face at 4 AM.

I haven't called because I figure they've probably had enough attention and need the rest. As to your last sentence, no chit! Eddie's well armed, and I don't know the details. Hope you bad azzes never have to find out.
