Dang it M. I just saw this thread.

Thats awful. Sure am glad no one got hurt.

Hope they take care of you and replace the boat.

You're always welcome on my little welfare boat.

Are you sure the drunk that hit you wasn't JT?

only problem w/ those two boats is that i may have to keep my 150 and replace the lower unit, so it wont push those rigs. also my boat house will probably handle 23 ft but not more than that. intimidator looks good. insurance guy is looking at it tomorrow. hope to know something soon.

          Michelle,

You need to look into the Andros Boat Works Bonefish 22

          Max HP is a 150

Will handle chop to 3 - 5' seas ..... and will run in 8" of water

Let me know if your intrested, I can get you on a test drive .....

          BTW
I bet they will total out your motor w/ the hull, to much could go wrong on the inside, and it's a package deal ..... the cost of the R&R plus the lower unit issue, won't be worth the insurance hassels.
Call Busha and see what he says........show him the pics ,and he can tell you what to say to the insurance guy

it pushed his vehicle LEFT into on comming traffic. If his wheels where straight then he simply would had been shoved straight forward instead of almost causing a head on with you. Thats why it is bad pratice and I think is technicaly against the law to stop in that situation with the steering wheel cranked over before the turn is initiated.
Do you understand, had you arrived abreast of the black truck a tad later you could had been seriously injured or even killed. Instead it was a very lucky glancing blow in wich you're towed boat took the impact.
                          Glad your OK!!

Just as a note, I am relaying this to my young driver in the house. I believe we were taught that in driver's ed 101. Thank you for pointing this out, I dont think I do this, but will pay way more attention to ensure I dont do this in the future.
