Its obvious to me then that the black truck was waiting to turn left, at a complete
stop with his steering wheel already turned left. When he was slammed from the rear
it pushed his vehicle LEFT into on comming traffic. If his wheels where straight then he simply would had been shoved straight forward instead of almost causing a head on with you. Thats why it is bad pratice and I think is technicaly against the law to stop in that situation with the steering wheel cranked over before the turn is initiated.
Do you understand, had you arrived abreast of the black truck a tad later you could had been seriously injured or even killed. Instead it was a very lucky glancing blow in wich you're towed boat took the impact.
yeah, i realize a second or two later and the outcome would have been way different. i'll look into this with my insurance company.
thanks,
michelle

Don't be a Nancy!

"Hey Hillary, regarding the Benghazi Attack on 9/11-we'll just blame it on that movie, not my total lack of security. By the way, what's so significant about 9/11 anyway-was that a date my buddy Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground blew up a government building?" asked Obama to Hillary. BEAUTIFY AMERICA, RUN OVER A LIBERAL, THEN BACK UP AND SEE IF HE'S DEAD.
waiting to hear from insurance. i hope they total the whole rig, but may get stuck w/ them replacing the lower unit only on the engine. if so, then i have to build a new boat. busha will do the work in bay city. what would u choose from between jh performance, explorer, gulf coast, and marshall boats if you had to choose? i'm fishing west galveston bay, making some runs to the jetties but mostly wading. i like trans boats but don't wanna wait 6 to 8 weeks for one.
michelle
It would be a toss up for me on the 24' JH or the 24' Intimidator from Marshall. I like both. These two boats are the front runners when I chose my new rig. Also in the running is the 26' and the 24' Southshore.
