  • TMO and 2112 at BR's / Video

The gigging trip was almost a total bust with only 2 fish taken by gig. It was blown out even on the protected shorelines but still had a great time. I had some good pictures to post but I left my camera at the camp, at least I brought home the video camera...Thanks Tom for the invite. The camp is a amazing place to be.

Fun video , Bert ! You should have checked around the house pier pilings for stunned flounder after hosing down the area with Corona extract. I noticed the tempo of the video increased in direct proportion to the number of Corona's consumed.

What a great time, thanks again Bert!!! Even though we didn't get too many flounder it sure wasn't for lack of effort. Bert has a first class rig and knows his way around that bay in the dark....it was awsome, can't wait to try again.

Found my camera in the tackle box.

Tom made us tacos and they where outstanding fuel for the night.

          Chow time!

Sunset and just about ready to shove off.

We stopped by around midnight for a pick-me-up and headed back out.

          Tom pops his gigging cherry!

Tom has a fall. So far, every guest I have had has fell in my boat. I might need to get some waivers made up to be signed so I don't get sued.
Tom saved the beer, he's good!

Next day. A few landed with Gulps. One rat red and 14" flounder.

That dinner spread looked good EXCEPT for that dang atm beer holder-made me upchuck when I saw it.

Man, I wish I could see everything on my work computer! Stupid blockers. I'll have to wait until I get home

I told Tom to be careful about falling. Nobody listens to me.

Now Bert, I know I didn't spend the whole night out that time I went with you, but I didn't fall. Might be a good idea to put down some traction stickers, you know the ones that are like sandpaper with the adhesive on the back.

Did you ever stop to consider that perhaps the frequency of headers on the boat could be related to the frequent and massive consumption of alcohol ? Naaaah. Dinner looks great ! It's 7 AM and I could eat some for breakfast.

The relation of the two cannot be overlooked. I slipped in it the very first time I boarded her while afloat. Stepping off the forward deck down into the mid floor is deceptively deeper than it looks and the floor has a slight angle before it runs level. It's not hard to fall even sober until you get used to the layout.
