Is it all by made specs you provided or did you bring the fish in ? Is it made from plaster or something, or the actual fish ? I don't want to be crass, but I'm curious about a price range for a mount like that. Congratulations on the awesome catch !!

Good choice for a mount! Looks great! - I have had several mounts done by David Turnage. For those that don't know him, his phone number is (979) 865-8646. He lives in Bellville but will meet you in Houston to deliver the mount. They are all composite - no skin mounts. I would never get the skin mounts - too much trouble and the mounts Turnage does probably look more lifelike than a skin mount. He is the best around. He is retired and this is all he does. He uses 18 different colors for his specks. He also does great reds and flounders (both light and dark colors on the flatties).
I agree with you....I don't think I've seen better replicas. He can create just about any angle. Here is a 30" fish he did for me with a slight reverse turn.
