    Palm Tree Dragger -update

    I emailed the JBPD and asked what they did to the jerk that dragged the palm tree and cut it free in Jumbile Cove the Friday before Memorial Day Weekend.

    Well, there is no law in Jamaica Beach against dragging a palm tree with your boat and since the POS dumped it in City of Galveston jurisdiction (Jumbile Cove), it wasn't JBPD problem and he mentioned that City of Galveston would likely have done nothing anyway. He wrote that "The subject in question admitted doing so and was strongly cautioned about repeating that activity again."

    Kind of a good news bad news story. He won't do it again and he's a moron that got away with it - I am just thankful that no one got hurt or killed or wrecked their boat.

        Sorry Coe-the dragger cut up and hauled off legally the other palm he cut down, so no lashing them together and jumping them in your neat rig.

          Well is there a prob. with us dragging some in and tying them to his dock with lag bolts! HA!

            Apparently that is OK Lurefisher. Ok to drag them around all ya want-just make sure ya drop them off in City of Galveston jurisdiction.

                  Now we don't really want to lower ourselves to his moronic level, so best left alone. It is too bad that when the palm fell, it missed his house or him-that woulda been true karma!!!
