    June 6, 1944
    We are West End Anglers, a saltwater tribe!

    The beginning of the end of war in Europe. Over 4000 allied troops lost their lives this day, 2000 of which were American soldiers. The next spring the allies accepted Nazi Germany's surrender and Hitler committed suicide.

    Thank you to all American military personnel past and present. I, for one, will not squander and will never take for granted what you have fought so hard to provide for myself and my family. Count on it!

          salute to them all..my grandfather stormed the beach on day 3, he was 19 and made it all the way through Europe. He is currently 91 and is still going strong. Thanks goes out to them all!
