4 guys wade fishing when the waves rolled through. I imagine it was a tanker. One didn't come back up. That was this morning, and they still have not located him.

Prayers sent. While I've never waded that area myself, it seems I've heard there is a notorious deep hole in that area that has claimed some others through the years. Wear your PFD's folks!

Man that sux!! Was a guy on TOS yesterday that was swept off there also and another boater picked him up as he floated away I think he said he was wearing a PFD.. man how sad

We saved one yesterday that was almost to the levee. He was wearing a pfd or he wouldn't have made it. the only funny part of the whole situation was when i asked him if he thought he was fixing to meet his maker. He told us i did say a couple of prayers in his oriental accent. We all got a chuckle.

Prayers sent - That place is as bad as the pass for taking lives. I dont have a pfd but I'm considering getting one -- there have been several situations wading over the years where I should have probably had one on.
