As for Yeti coolers you need to buy one the size of a Tahoe to have room for anyhting after you add the ice........ I guess if your going to be out for days camping or hunting then yes they make sense but for a day on the water no thanks I will stick with my $50 Igloo.

Sunglasses Why Costa???
I've been wearing Costas everyday for over 12 years now. They are my favorite pair. I've had Maui Jim's, Smith Optics, Cheapo glasses etc.
There is not another glasses manufacturer that remotely comes close to blocking out the light and cutting through the glare on the water.
Going from Mauis to Costas was like going from analog to digital cable then putting on the 580's vs 400 was like going from standard definition to 1080P HD.
Just my $0.02
Amber lens with green finish would be my suggestion. Find a frame you want at a local store then order on eBay for half the cost.We are West End Anglers, a saltwater tribe!

If you want the best get Costas.

When you guys were in diapers I was wearing Vaurnets. I still have a cool fold up pair.Originally posted by GHSmacker View PostIf you want the best get Costas.

Costa 580 glass lenses are fine if you don't need a Rx, then they're too heavy. I'm sure Costa's are fine glasses. Did they ever figure out how to keep the rubber parts from falling off? That seems to have been one major knock on the brand. that and some warranty issues.
I personally like the price, service, fit, warranty and quality of Smith Optics for my bifocals."GET OFF MY REEF!"

Yes, the rubber nose piece will wear out eventually...mine did on a set of hammerhead frames i had for six years. Those glasses went through hell and back and i wore them almost daily. Long days on the road, getting tossed in a blind bag(without a case) and only pulling them out when i need them during the hunt, being left in layout blinds and only being pulled out after me remembering later on in the day...and countless other times of abuse.
Honestly...how long do you need a set of sunglasses to last until you can finally say "they're worth it"? I finally retired those frames this year and bought a new pair this year."If our father had his say, nobody who did not know how to catch a fish would be allowed to disgrace a fish by catching him." h'mmm very interesting lots of good dialog. I believe in whatever floats your boat so I will look at alot of them then buy something that makes sense for me. My problem is a lose glasses alot. I have a cheap pair that I bought at a airport down in Panama and I cant seemed to lose them. I but something that cost major bucks and I lose them inside of a month. Go figure

My daughter gave me a pair of Maui Jim's for my birthday and I like them, doubt if I would ever pay that much.
I to have sat on, lost, scrached, dropped overboard, donated a pair to the Gaudalupe river, or broken too many pairs in the past to invest too heavily in glasses. I am going to keep using the igloos also (for me it is more than 40 years), I make my ice so let it melt.

Im on my 3rd pair of Costa's (first pair where lost.....then found after second pair was purchased) I love them the style I wear has the stainless hinges on the arms. taking them off and putting them on your hat or head will stretch out most glasses, the hinges let them break away so they dont stretch. The style is MAYA. they have a few diff styles that do it.
