It would be a lot easier to make a 'special' forum where only you can post. It will also be the only forum you can access so you'll always be satisfied with the content - and so will the rest of us.

Ok, ok...
I caught these today in West Galveston Bay, on the south shoreline, on Long Reef at the mouth of Offats Bayou, between the hours of 11-2, on a plum/chartruese Norton sand eel jr, fished at a medium-slow pace, over mud/shell, in partly stained water with a visibility of 10 inches.

Can we be friends now?"If our father had his say, nobody who did not know how to catch a fish would be allowed to disgrace a fish by catching him." Norman Maclean, from A River Runs Through It

I for one greatly enjoy the fishing reports. There's no need to throw GPS coordinates up in one's report to make it a good one. "I caught these fish this morning in the surf with some plum colored lures." Reports like these are a tremedous help for people like me that make an hour and a half trip down to the island to fish. People are signing up on this site every week that admittedly do not have have much knowledge on how to fish the Galveston island area. However, if you are so advanced in your fishing acumen that these reports are of no use to you, might I suggest simply not reading them?
As an aside; If one was to post a fishing report with false info, that person would be a horse's arse of the highest order. It's fine if they just want to show off, but don't mislead people. Perhaps I'll put make a post in the gardening section explaining that I grew my prize winning grapefruits by fertilizing with some gasoline and watered it with salt water, you jerk. What Would Hans Wagemueller Do?

I like to look at the background in the pictures and figure out where they are LOLOriginally posted by Russ757 View PostI never look at spots but i like to look at weather and water conditions and reference that with what did/didnt work.

It would be nice if people actually put the method and conditions to help others out. no spots though.

GHSmacker is known for his outstanding duck hunts, last season he was heard to say "Yesterday we had so many greenheads, we didn't even have to shoot a single shotshell since all we had to do was grab them." but was later found to be they were "hunting" at the children's petting zoo at Hermann Park."Hey Hillary, regarding the Benghazi Attack on 9/11-we'll just blame it on that movie, not my total lack of security. By the way, what's so significant about 9/11 anyway-was that a date my buddy Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground blew up a government building?" asked Obama to Hillary. BEAUTIFY AMERICA, RUN OVER A LIBERAL, THEN BACK UP AND SEE IF HE'S DEAD.

I like reading other peoples success stories and how I might relate to them with my experiences. What I tend to get and use from fishing reports are weather conditions, maybe what lure or bait they were using, and what kind of bottom or structures they might have fished. To better plan my trip and plan what areas I know like that and go fish them. I know I maybe new here and havent been around long on the forum. But everything I've seen on here is good info by good people. Just my 2."It was the Law of the Sea, they said. Civilization ends at the waterline. Beyond that, we all enter the food chain, and not always right at the top."
