Do you put much stock in what people type in the report sections these days? Is this your number one source of info while you plan battle strategies the night before a trip? Do you ever get the feeling that maybe you're being led astray from false reports?

I mean, why in the hell even have a fishing report section? True fisherman keep their lips sealed on good spots...while the rookies...well...you know. Is the chest pumping really needed? Hey pal, great job, that's one hell of a gaftop you have there! I mean, honestly....

    What say ye internet buzzards?

Nothing wrong with telling what you caught them on and a general direction and conditions. The people you help today, might be the one's that help you tomorrow! Personally though, I tend not to follow the area given if it is, but rather go my own way when heading out. Unless it's kenny...then I follow him around for the shear pleasure of pissing him off!

I never look at spots but i like to look at weather and water conditions and reference that with what did/didnt work.

I enjoy posting when I catch fish and when I don't. I enjoy reading the reports of others. I would like to see more details in reports but fully understand why people limit information. I almost understand why people black out photos.

If I can help someone else catch fish and enjoy the sport - I do what I can. If that ain't for you, I'm sure you'll enjoy the gardening forum.

GHS is a Cyrillic alphabet acronym for Professional Interweb Troll. In the Latin alphabet, his callsign would be PITmacker.

How can you sleep at night when you mock someone just asking simple questions?!

                        Have you no shame?

But seriously, what would be wrong with these forums if you just totally did away with all of the report sections and had all of the other general ones? You could still BS, talk fishing, lures, weather, tides, redfish, trout, landlocked snapper, jerry curls, glazed donuts, watermellon, The Sand Bar, the Kappa Beach Party, spring break, and which colored Columbia fishing shirt best matches your new Simms waders. You know, all that important stuff.

Don't tell me you wouldn't still show up around here.
