Boat Hard to Turn Left

No it does not have a jack plate.

What kind of boat and motor set-up do you have?

It's a 2001 Dargel Skout 140 with a 2001 Johnson 70 hp 2 stroke... The motor is mounted on the highest hole on a raised transom, so it doesn't really need a jack plate (what the previous owner said) also, there is a kink in the gas tank vent line he said sometimes if you try and fill the tank too fast the gas will come back up. What should I do about this? The line is very stiff and the kink won't come out.
