Smoker Pit

I am looking for an inexpensive smoker pit to use instead of my propane grill so that I can learn how to really grill and impart more flavor.
If anyone has one that they want to get rid of cheap, let me know.
I know barham or someone has an old one they want to get rid of! Help a brother out!
This is the style I am looking for but won't be picky if the price is right.

I bought that exact one in that pic at home depot for my gf dad last year, it cooks really good got it at home depot $149

you really don't want to start out on a cheap model like that. Hard to control temp and they eat up more wood than they are worth. Academy has a thicker steel smoker pit for $400. Real decent for the price and would last a lot longer and cook better.

I have a cheap one and can maintain the temp but have to keep an eye on every 30 min or so. Like sagging pants Gilbert said, it will burn up quite a bit of wood.

I've had the same New Braunfield smoker that sits in the elements every day for 11 years now and it goes for 179 at Academy every day. Best smoker that I've ever owned!!!!
