Monument Inn

Hey y'all,

Has any of you been to the Monument Inn lately?
My other half is taking me there tomorrow, Sunday, for my B-Day dinner, and
was wondering if the place reflects the reviews I have seen.

$32.00 for all-you-can-eat seafood, is a great deal, as long as it is
infact good and fresh.

Exactly what I expected to hear. I have been readin reviews on the place, and am pretty excited about going.
Might bring a pole with, and try a few casts somewhere out there.

I've never eaten there, but I heard it's good. I grew up eating at San Jacinto Inn and took my folks for their closing day. Man, we ate a lot of oysters at that place!

I love driving 35 minutes to go eat there! Well worth the drive!

My wife and I drive an 1hr20min from New Caney to eat there, once a month.

The food is great. I go several times a year, and my Dad goes with his buddies once a month.

Every time I go, I just eat shrimp until I can't eat anymore or run out of money! If you are not there by 5:30pm on a Friday or Saturday evening, you may as well go somewhere else. People out in the parking lot waiting. It's good!!

Outstanding food well worth it..
