  • Live Crawfish in the Gtown Area

Is there a good place to buy live crawfish (not heb caliber crawfish, I mean decent sized for a decent price) in the Tiki area or Galveston area? I know Boyd's has em but I am looking for somewhere closer than that.

    Thanks
    XA

    GOD BLESS AND GIG'EM!

I hope I catch a 10 lb trout before I catch a flesh eating bacteria.

I drive to Boyd's from north houston, and it's worth it for me.

I bought mine from a farmer in Kingwood last Sunday, massive crawfish. Boyd's later in the season will be buying from Red Tailz which is my usual supplier in Crosby / Dayton.

Try Airline Seafood. 1871 Richmond. They wholesale to a number of restaurants in town. I buy my oysters there. Quality is A+

its too salty in galveston for crawfish to live. you have to go where there's more fresh water.
