If its a WEA club tournament I dont see how you can cut out a member because hes a guide. BFD. I say let any member fish.

That would be akin to cutting out Robalo at WEA beer drinking event/contest because hes a beer drinking pro and does that all the time and doesnt work.

I absolutely have no problem with guides in the tournament. I'm with Steve A.....more the merrier, not to mention you can't leave the Pimp Daddy out. Look, Redfish tournaments anybody can win. If memory serves me right, in June during the Texas Redfish series two teenagers won first place.

We cant do october 3rd.. That is the date for the Big 3 tourney out of harborwalk and will be about 500 folks with half of those being fishing in west bay. How about sunday the 4th. Kaylin and I are OFF that day LOL.

GUIDES ARE ALLOWED this is not some family fun tournament as I mentioned earlier this is a tournament for serious anglers. The family fun tournament will be the running of the bulls month long tournament later this year.

The person who came up with the idea needs to pick a date. There will always be someone with some objections. I'm in for sure.

I started a Duck Hunting tourney on THF and I had to elect all of the details b/c someone always wanted to change something and it kept going back and forth.

Pick the date, categories, payout, and everyone else will try to show up. Just my .02
