Hydrofoil Nationals - not fishing, but very cool.

I know this is a fishing website, but my friend was at the Hydrofoil National in Denver last weekend competing and he sent me this video of his 2nd run.

wow some insane jumps I remember when those things first came out...

Coe, when I lived in Austin we were one of the first to really start getting serious air and doing flips. One time, I went to do a back flip and the rope caught the front of the chair and tossed me around and I face planted in the water from 10-15ft. All I can tell you is, I have not rode one once and will not get on it again. Anything that requires you to wear a helmet and mouth piece has to be insane.
