Got back this evening. Had a great trip. Fishing was tough on the only trip we took, which was Saturday am. We spent the entire weekend Drinking, Eating and telling stories about the old days. I will upload pics of the food when I get them. huge steaks, garlic mashed potatoes and stuffed japs the first night and Reds on the half shell, jap and cheese stuffed shrimp and grilled trout the second. Got back early enough for dinner with the family and friends. It was a perfect birthday weekend!
I did lose the biggest trout I have ever seen. We are guessing 30" or a little better. She came halfway out of the water when he hit and then jumped about 1 1/2' shaking the head. She made 2 hard runs and the pulled off. We caught a total of 7 keeper reds 1 21" trout and a bunch of rats. All were caught on top. reds in less than 1' of water and the trout 3-4' on the south shoreline.

Can't wait to get back down there in the fall!
All pics taken with my new Waterproof camera......Thanks Tina!

Next trip down will be hardcore fishing and a little less drinking! I was hoping to get a few more reds to bring home, but they were good eating!
