Does anyone here ride dirt bikes? I used to race back in the day but hung it up for a while. I got another bike recently but none of my friends ride anymore. Looking for someone to go to the track with.

I live in Pearland so Skeeter MX is close and if anyone on here rides it would be fun to meet up. Just seeing if anyone here still does that kind of thing. At 31 yrs old my bones may not hold up as good as they used to and it would be a good idea to have a buddy at the track with me so that when I eat chit they can call my wife to come take me home. LOL!!!

at 31, you should know better. I recently got rid of my kawaski 250 because of bones hurting.

I got rid of my trusty KLK300R about 2 years ago. I flipped it in the street
going about 45 mph in 4th gear and tore myself up pretty bad. Now days I have
a Bonneville for the street and a CRF100 and a CRF50 that has been modded
to the hilt. It's a 88cc screamer thats a blast.

Im not wanting to start racing competitively again. I just want to go mess around at the track and I wanted to see if anyone here rode.

My lil brother raced for 15 yrs he gave up in 03 I was his mechanic we raced the pro class for 5 yrs he did well won some cash but has alot of plates rods and screws to show. Not to mention two very close friends that are paralyzed. They are two good dudes from the area James Marshall and Dave Shade Jr.. Im sure anyone near motocross knows them.

I started riding at a young age (7) but never really took it very serious. I am now almost 30 (my bday is tomorrow) and have gotten back into riding in the last year or so and try to make it to the track a few times each month. I have a group of buddies that ride as well, so that makes it easier to make it to the track.

You are welcome to join us anytime. We typically ride at 3 palms in Conroe. I actually just picked up another bike this past weekend. I have ridden two strokes for years and finally switched over to the dark side (4 stroke).

I currently have a 1998 KX 250 and a 2002 CRF 450. Best of both worlds…

Hey thats cool JustinTime I was the same way. Started riding young then got out of it for a while. The last bike I raced was a 1998 KX125. Now I just picked up 4-stroker also its a 2005 CRF450. Man these 4-strokes have crazy amounts of power !!! Definately takes some getting used to compared to the 2 strokes that I was familiar with, but Im starting ot feel comfortable on it and ready to get to the track. Conroe is a pretty far haul for me but maybe one day I could meet up with yall out there. Ive never rode at 3palms.

98' KX 125, ehh? My old two stroke is a 98' KX 250. I took some pics the other day because I realized I have never taken any of the bike. Pretty clean for a 98', right? I will post a few pics of my CRF when I get a chance. It's being "pimped" at the moment.

Wow, Ive broken some stock bars like that, but cant say that Ive ever seen some renthals snap that way.

Your '98 sure is clean. Do you even ride that thing? LOL.

Heres my CRF. I have some stuff on order so that I can "pimp" mine too. Still waiting on a few things to come in. I have a brand new set of shrouds that are begging for some cool graphics to be put on them, but I cant decide which ones to get.

HaHa. Yeah, I don't ride that bike very often. It sits in storage begging to be ridden.

That CRF is sweet. It looks like the frame is powder coated? I am going to put black wheels on mine as well.
