  • Caution to all anglers & waders

So last night Chris and I pull up to the area we are going to gig. I turn off the car and start getting out. Chris says what are you going to do? What are you talking about?? Dude turn back on the car... Lights come back on & I see a 6' rattlesnake lounging in front of the car. It was promptly relocated off the path. We saw a number of snakes last night be careful out there they are on the move.

I caught one at work here on Quintana yesterday and relocated it -- bout 3 or 4 feet. It's the third in as many weeks.

Use your car to relocate. If near the SLP Bridge-try to put them near the cat food bowls left by the Toll Trolls!!!! Cats are really immune to rattlesnake bites-try it and see-WOULD I LEAD YA ASTRAY? Here kitty kitty. Hissssssssss, swak, meoweee.

By the way, what's so significant about 9/11 anyway-was that a date my buddy Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground blew up a government building?" asked Obama to Hillary. I've seen a bunch of very large indigo snakes on SPI. They're trying to fatten up before finding a nest for the winter. My 8-foot indigo snakes eat your silly little rattlers for lunch! Biggest, baddest, fastest snake in Texas.

I tried several times to gig it but for some reason it kept trying to kiss me before it slithered off.
