Stollen Propeller Update.

Had another customer with props that were stollen that were in the console of his boat. We had the boat for about a mounth and he came and picked it up yesterday and that's when we discovered his were missing as well. He had his DL and Intials engraved in his propellers. They were found @ Pawn it all in Seabrook. The Mofo had his Grandmother pawn them with her DL. Now justice is finaly being served and Gmall, and him both are going to jail, and customer has to fill out paper work today and have his props released to him. Thanks everyone for helping me out with this, started to think you could get away with stealing crap in Bacliff, but justice did prevail. Now if I could only get me 2K+ back for buying back and replacing stollen items for my customers.

File a Civil Suit against both in Small Claims court. You don't need a lawyer, just the documentation showing how you paid for replacing the stolen items and also sue for possible loss of clientele due to theivery. cost is about $50 to file and the Clerk of court will assist in the paperwork.

You will win unless the JP is their cousin. Also, post their name and addresss on the web (just mention they were charged-nothing else so they can't sue you-that way folks will know who the low-life, stinking POS, mofos are and where they live-perhaps the thieves will see their sheeet disappear or perhaps a fire may occur-likely due to faulty electrical from stealing electricity . Maybe report them to the CPS if the thief has a child?????

Max is $5000 in small claims. You will receive a Judgement when you win, file the Judgement of record in Galveston County at the County Clerk's office-will cost about $20 to file it. If they own their house, it will not attach since likely is Homestead, but if they own some other property that is not Homestead, they will never be able to sell it until title is "clear", meaning they will have to pay off the Judgement-it may take years to collect, but someday you may get a check in the mail. Keep your address up to date with the County Clerk so if Judgement is paid, so they know how to find you if Judgement is ever paid and a release will be signed by you.

Just my $.02. For $50 and 2 to 3 hours of your time, it is worth it to farge with them. Good luck and hope they pay up.
