Sept. 2 - Last night he talked to his wife & daughter for about 5 minutes. He ate tomato soup and understands what is going on.
Today - He continue to improves. He told my mom he loved her when she called this morning. He understands he has West Nile Virus & that he needs to eat to regain his strength. He went from 1:30 PM yesterday to 1:00 AM this morning before needing any morphine.

Another update:
His coffee group came up. He recognized everyone and talked to them for about 30 minutes. He is much more alert got a shower etc.We are West End Anglers, a saltwater tribe!Comment
