My neighbors called me and said they saw a guy laying face down at the bottom of the escalators. Cops rushed around pretty quick & paramedics came. He was thrown on a stretcher & a sheet thrown over him. Sad. Prayers for the family.

Just heard about this on the radio. Prayers to the family. They said he was messing around on the escalator and like trying to slide down the rail or something.Tight Lines

Apparently he was sliding down the escalator on the rail and fell and splatted. Sad and tragic...
Goofy society we live in now. All about being "extreme", taking silly risks just for thrills and/or to be on YouTube, yet we are going to, in effect, "ban" what we know and love as the game of football because it is too violent and risky!
And, this guy's family will probably be able too sue the Texans and everyone else associated with that facility/escalator and win a big settlement...
