    Anyone up for Mudding?

    Going over to Upper Trinity here in about 2 hours going to take the Gator-Tail out for a spin. Going to locate some mud and explore some back areas for Teal Season if anyone is interested in jumping on the beer barge for a few hours

    I launch from Hugo Point Boat Ramp that's mile marker (exit #) 803 off I-10 East (just before Trinity River) Gou Hole Road / Old River Winfree exit

    We can meet at Valero right there at the corner.

        Bad *** time, nobody went with me so flew out there solo heck of a good time. I got the videos uploading on YouTube right now. I got to the launch at low tide. Had some trouble seems my boat box moved a little and hit the toggle switches either last time I brought her back or on the way out. So, I go to crank engine nothing! Jumped it and let it charge for 10min while I got the boat ready. She came quickly back to life and I was off to the shallow marsh area. Took a spin up north of I-10 and scouted some new areas.

        Helped a guy and his son get off some shallow area in the marsh think they took a wrong turn, they were stuck good we were able to budge it with all three of us pushing so I said heck with this and they looked at me in disbelief... I jumped back into the boat and turned it around so I was pointing bow to bow. (He was already 3/4 of the way across before he lost momentum) I think they thought I was leaving they were like wait hold on.... I hooked up the winch and backed off across to this tree where I hooked a strap around it and tied myself off... I winched them straight into deep water

        I was laughing the whole time taking it easy with the winch but she worked well and will get a big sea ark off a mud flat!
